Jan 31, 2017 · Gently pry the fob apart, gently remove the old worn battery, replace with a new CR2025. I did so without bending any of the contacts, battery went in tight. Same side up as originally. Battery tests to 3.32v. Back together and fob doesn't work (buttons). OK, pry apart again and gently bend the center contacts down for a better connection.

Jan 22, 2018 · Since the vehicle is starting when jumped without the brake on and/or fob in the cabin, it goes to reason that there is a malfunction at, or between, the starter and the ECU. Based on what you are describing, the vehicle is in a constant state of startup even when turned off (which drains the battery FAST).

Ordered new batteries, waiting till arrive in the post. At worst have to have a new key cut and synced for about £300. Reply Like.

Jan 29, 2015 · Just be sure to remove the screw inside the handle first. Battery on the FOB has been changed several times already, so I don't think that is the issue. The odd thing is that the drivers side door and the passenger rear door are acting the same way, but the other two are working just fine.

The owner's manual states that the flashing yellow Key light indicates the engine is running with the Key fob outside the vehicle. This is not the case. The fob is inside.

The Juke key fob is a challenge to replace the battery but approx once a year I figure it out, change main & spare at the same time & it’s all good. until now. New batteries but only 1 key worked. For 24 hours, then it stopped. New Duracell batteries so should be good.
