A portion of Mendon Road in Cumberland that's seen its share of traffic diversions because of an ongoing bridge project became even more snarled on Saturday when a water main broke. It happened near the Burger King at Chelo Place - between the end of George Washington Highway and the Interstate 295 interchange.

The City of Nacogdoches said that Mound Street is currently closed due to a water main break. The section of Mound Street between Ochiltree Street and Bailey Avenue is closed while crews work to repair the break in the water main.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Mound Street in Nacogdoches has been closed from Ochiltree Street to Bailey Avenue. The city announced at about 3:50 p.m. on Saturday that the road has been closed due to a broken water line. Crews are on site working to repair the break, with an estimated completion time of 8 p.m.
