Prasadam row: Amul lodges FIR against "misinformation campaign"; says "never supplied ghee to Tirupati temple"
Amid a row over the use of animal fat in prasadam given at Tirumala temple, Amul on September 20 issued a statement , stating that it had never supplied ghee to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD).

Meanwhile, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu called it a matter of people's faith and said the allegations have hurt the sentiments of devotees.
