Seth Meyers on Thursday called out Barack Obama over a particular line of attack the former president deployed against Donald Trump during recent campaign rally appearances for defeated Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

In the wake of Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 presidential election, Seth Meyers was largely uninterested in the “finger-pointing” going on within the Democratic party. He did, however, have some advice for Democratic leaders: take a cue from Trump’s boasting.

The results of the 2024 election are in, with Donald Trump successfully winning a second term as President of the United States. While it clearly wasn't the outcome Seth Meyers was hoping for, the Late Night host has encouraged other disappointed Americans not to lose heart.
