Seven years after becoming a top horror star as Pennywise in "It," Bill Skarsgård is back on the big screen playing the original movie monster, Count Orlok, in Robert Eggers' remake of the vampire classic "Nosferatu.

Count Orlok is among the oldest and most storied monsters in horror, but he's only been portrayed a few times in film across the decades.

As you know, Willem Dafoe has a fun connection to Nosferatu , dating back to his amazingly fun portrayal of Max Schreck in the 2000 dark comedy Shadow of the Vampire . The film is a fictionalized take on the making of F.

“As soon as I met her, it was clear. She really understood the script. She really understood the character,” writer-director Robert Eggers told Yahoo Entertainment. “Then she auditioned, and it was every bit as powerful as I expected and just as raw and ferocious as you see on the screen. I’m so proud of what she accomplished in this film.”
