Spanish tennis superstar Carlos Alcaraz had a 2024 to remember—winning the French Open and Wimbledon singles titles in addition to an Olympic silver medal. However, he appeared to fade a bit as the season wore on.

The four-time Grand Slam champion has played an excellent 2024 despite recent disappointments. The 21-year-old from Murcia became the youngest player ever to win the French Open and the Wimbledon Championships in the same year, demonstrating a truly amazing completeness.

Carlos Alcaraz said that players had different opinions on the topic, but in his view ’the calendar is so tight’, adding ‘right now there are a lot of injuries.’
