The Army, in coordination with Manipur Police, recovered illegal arms and warlike equipment in two joint operations in Churachandpur, Thoubal, and Imphal East districts of the riot-hit state.

The army and the police in joint operations recovered a significant number of weapons and ammunition in crisis-hit Manipur today, the army said in a statement.
