Wilcox is on the verge of entering the Top 5 after upsetting Los Gatos in the Peninsula Athletic League Bay Division’s game of the year. Capuchino enters at No. 24, having just defeated a Burlingame team that upset Wilcox earlier in the season.

The rankings held up well through the first round of the playoffs. Warren knocking off Palatine was the only mild surprise and that represented a trend. The North Suburban conference, which had four teams popping in and out of the rankings all season, had a great first round.
