Defenseman Brock Faber scored a wraparound goal 35 seconds into overtime and the Minnesota Wild rallied from two goals down midway through the third period to beat the Dallas Stars 3-2.

But the Wild flipped the game in the third with two goals in a 57-second span — one by Jonas Brodin (his first since Nov. 19) and a Marcus Foligno redirection — to tie the game. And that’s when Brock Faber stole the show.

Brodin foiled Oettinger’s shutout bid with his first goal in more than a month, snapping a low shot just inside the right post. On the next shift, Foligno screened the goalie and deflected Jared Spurgeon’s shot to knot the score.

The Minnesota Wild (22-10-4) scored two goals in the third period to complete the comeback and beat the Dallas Stars (20-13-1) 3-2 in overtime on Friday night.
