The New York Mets rallied late to defeat the Philadelphia Phillies 6-2 in Game 1 of the National League Division Series, after being held scoreless for seven innings by Phillies ace Zack Wheeler. Philadelphia took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning with a leadoff home run by Kyle Schwarber but struggled offensively for the rest of the game.

Blanked for seven innings by Philadelphia starter Zack Wheeler, the New York Mets erupted for six runs against the Phillies' bullpen in the final two innings Saturday to earn a 6-2 victory in Game 1 of a National League Division Series.

If the Mets can pull off another win, they would take a 2-0 lead in this best-of-five series. The winner advances to the National League Championship Series. But it won't be easy to defeat the Phillies again at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
