The Harlem Globetrotters announced on Monday that they will be returning to Des Moines in 2025. On Sunday, January 12 the Harlem Globetrotters will take on the Washington Generals at Wells Fargo Arena.

DES MOINES, Iowa — The world-renowned Harlem Globetrotters are bringing their 2025 World Tour to Des Moines this January. The basketball entertainers will face their biggest (and only) rival, the Washington Generals, on Jan. 12 at Wells Fargo Arena.

The Harlem Globetrotters are returning to Des Moines and they're bringing new stunts and challenges with them. The trick-shot basketball stars are taking on their rivals, the Washington Generals, at Wells Fargo Arena. The friendly competition will host a battle of dunks, spins, four-point shots and more, according to a news release.
