Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) urged Republicans on Monday to join Democrats in voting for the Right to IVF Act, which would secure nationwide access to in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments. Schumer’s call comes ahead of a pivotal Senate vote on the legislation, sponsored by Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), scheduled for tomorrow.

The upper chamber will vote on Tuesday on a bill that would shield in vitro fertilization and expand Americans’ access to the procedure, the Senate majority leader told his colleagues.
