Quarterback Jalen Hurts is poised to return to the Philadelphia Eagles’ lineup when they open the playoffs Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Hurts was cleared under the return-to-play provisions of the NFL concussion protocol, Eagles Coach Nick Sirianni said Friday.

Despite critics labeling him a weakness, Hurts’ numbers and history of rising in the postseason tell a story of resilience and clutch performances.

Hurts was a full participant in practice Thursday, with the Eagles gaining key assets just before the playoffs begin.
