While Dog Man doesn't arrive in theaters until January, DreamWorks and Universal released the official trailer for the film on Tuesday, giving the many fans of the book series their first glimpse of the canine detective in action. Check it out!

Dreamworks Animation has released the first trailer for Dog Man, based on Dav Pilkey’s series of children’s books. The books are a spinoff of Pilkey’s Captain Underpants book series, which inspired the earlier Dreamworks film Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie in 2017.

Universal Pictures and Animation have debuted the first trailer and poster for Dog Man, the big-screen adaptation of Dav Pilkey’s children’s book series which follows the titular half-man, half-dog police officer as he sets out to stop the feline supervillain Petey the Cat;
