Not long after the Vikings took care of business in the 30-12 win over the Chicago Bears, coach Kevin O’Connell heaped praise on an unsung hero from the game with a couple of sentences that might’ve gone unnoticed to anybody who wasn’t paying close attention.

Cam Akers snags the screen pass and scores the 9-yard touchdown.

Akers’ late catch, which came with less than two minutes left in the game on a third-and-2 pass, sealed a 27-25 win for the Vikings over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon in a game at U.S. Bank Stadium that got tight late.
