Telegram-linked blockchain platform, The Open Network (TON), has received another financial boost from Bitget and Foresight Ventures. Bitget officially announced on Sept. 18 a $30 million strategic investment in the TON blockchain in a move to scale the development of TON applications on Telegram.

This investment will be allocated through the acquisition of TON tokens, and is expected to further accelerate the adoption of Tap-to-Earn, GameFi, and new emerging trends within the TON ecosystem

Crypto exchange Bitget and investment firm Foresight Ventures have announced a $30 million investment in The Open Network (TON) blockchain.

With the $30 million investment, Bitget and Foresight Ventures will engage more deeply in the governance and future development plans of the TON blockchain, supporting the emergence and go-to-market of more blockbuster dApps on TON.

Bitget and Foresight Ventures announced on Wednesday that it acquired $30 million in TON from whales. This deal was not structured as a traditional VC investment, but rather a purchase from the token's largest holders Crypto exchange Bitget and Web3 investor Foresight Ventures announced on Wednesday that they have increased their exposure to The Open Network (TON Blockchain) by $30 million through a deal with a number of unnamed whales of the TON ecosystem.
