More severe weather is on the way for Oklahoma after a weekend of destruction caused by heavy rainfall and a string of tornadoes. At least 11 people were injured and around 100 homes were damaged as a result of a weekend of severe weather.

The severe weather threat will continue to increase this afternoon, with warnings ongoing or likely from northern Tulsa County to western Ottawa County through 3 p.m.

A surge of severe storms brought several tornado warnings to central Oklahoma communities, starting early Monday morning and into the afternoon.
