Oakland police on Friday announced they have arrested an adult male and two teens in connection with the fatal shooting of a mother of eight who confronted alleged drug dealers in front of her home earlier this month.

A person who was fatally shot last week in Oakland was identified by family members as a mother of eight. The shooting happened on Aug. 7 just before 2:30 p.m. on the 5600 block of Hilton Street, the Oakland Police Department told SFGATE.
