Cortez (D-NY) defeated Republican Tina Forte for the second time Tuesday night, winning a fourth term to her New York House seat easily. Ocasio-Cortez defeated Forte for New York’s 14th Congressional District with 71% of the vote and 37% ballots counted so far.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) cruised to re-election representing her solidly blue district spanning parts of Queens and the Bronx, according to the Associated Press, which called the race shortly after polls closed.
