Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown claims he knew exactly when his team would go on to win the NBA championship last season. The Boston Celtics claimed their 18th NBA title last season, defeating the Dallas Mavericks in the Finals.

Per Brown's statement, Dallas guard Kyrie Irving ended Game 3 with a game-high 35 points but could not pull his team to victory, even with Luka Doncic adding 27 points. The Celtics' duo of Brown and Jayson Tatum combined for 61 points with both going over 30.

Last year, the Celtics followed a 4-1 preseason record with a 64-18 regular season and a dominant 16-3 in the playoffs to eventually raise Banner 18. But that's all in the past now. A thunderous dunk in the second quarter seemed to indicate two things at once.
