Furthermore, Nia Jax will put the WWE Women's Championship up for grabs in a match against Naomi. This will be Naomi's second crack at the belt in recent months, as she challenged for the title on the November 15 edition of WWE SmackDown. Furthermore, the show will transition to a three hour runtime.

Two matches have been announced for the January 3 episode of WWE SmackDown. As announced on the December 27 episode, Naomi will challenge Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship. Naomi is one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Bianca Belair.

Someone who will indeed get a championship match, though, is one half of the women’s tag team champions, Naomi. After pinning Candice LeRae in a six-woman tag team match to earn the win for her team, Naomi will be facing Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship on next week’s show.
