Company officials from Givaudan plan to be at next week's community meeting in the wake of an explosion in Louisville that killed two people and damaged several homes. A massive explosion occurred at the Givaudan Sense Colour factory in the Clifton neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

Dr. Jason Smith, University of Louisville Hospital's chief medical officer, said doctors who treated victims dealt with a "spectrum of injuries" consistent with an explosion, including blast injuries, thermal injuries and injuries from falling debris.

In a statement, the Supreme Court identified the convicted murderer as Ayaz Asad, a local resident of the province who had intentionally killed another Afghan using a Kalashnikov rifle.
