Emilia Pérez was the big winner at Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards, taking four categories including Best Musical or Comedy Film and Best International Film. Conventional wisdom is that the windfall skyrockets the Netflix musical to frontrunner status for Best Picture at the Oscars.

“Emilia Pérez” swept the Golden Globes on Jan. 5, winning best motion picture in the musical or comedy category, as well as best motion picture (non-English language). The Spanish-language operatic musical also won a Golden Globe for best original song and Zoe Saldaña took home an award for best supporting female actor in a motion picture.

The 82nd Golden Globes kicked off the awards season Sunday night, and it looks like Emilia Pérez, which took home four Golden Globes including Best Picture (Comedy or Musical), is the film to look out for this year. From expected wins to a few surprises – Demi Moore's comeback!
