Jordan Poole’s 3-pointer with 8.1 seconds remaining lifted the Washington Wizards to a 113-110 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.

Jordan Poole has always been confident, and he needed every bit of confidence on Thursday night with his Washington Wizards down a point to the Charlotte Hornets with seconds left. Poole got the ball out of the in-bounds and started driving like he was going to make a run at the basket.

The team listed second-year wing Brandon Miller as questionable on its injury report Wednesday night after being out since Dec. 16. He left the game that night against the Sixers with a right ankle sprain and has missed the last three games.
