If the plastic bag was not altered, the giblets and poultry should be safe to use as long as the meat is fully cooked.

(Yes, it takes forever to peel it by hand, and your fingers will smell like garlic all day, but fresh is best.) Then, everything gets placed into a cooking bag to cook at 325 degrees until it's done.

I think the dryness/moistness factor has more to do with preparation than fresh/frozen. WEBMay 29, 2008 · The last couple years I have cooked the turkey for Christmas the day before. It makes Christmas day infinitely easier and more enjoyable. We have about 15 people come for dinner and I set up a buffet line. I can not figure out a way to keep the turkey warm on the line though, and turkey cools down almost instantly.
